It's interesting to place a rating of "I love it" on a business text... this is not the kind of content that inspires emotion.But it's too good for it's type not to give the highest rating.While the author does give a good overview of the business processes in scope, this is at core a book for the IT business analyst or consultant who brings domain knowledge and wants to understand how SAP works to support the practices necessary to get full value from the solutions. The constituent modules in enable comprehensive supply and demand planning in APO are introduced in detail with discussion of use cases and the configuration steps required. In my opinion, this book would be perhaps best used with access to an SAP training instance at ready disposal to work along with the text.This recent update includes recognition of the changing environment as SAP introduces the IBP platform without losing focus of the continued importance of the APO platform for many SAP customers, and the broad scope of topics discusses make this a valuable addition to the bookshelf of the technically oriented practitioner.
