I enjoyed reading about Dr. Yonnet's life. I got to work with him in Waterloo.
I had the honor of reading this book prior to publication. A greater honor - I was gifted with the opportunity to work along side of him and Beatrix, as his Physician Assistant. He tells his unique story of rising above circumstance - I imagine most will read to learn of his rise after an accident left him a paraplegic. My hope is that after reading this remarkable story you will understand that Dr. Yonnet has beat down circumstance throughout his life and that his journey will serve as motivation for those who have yet to learn - we have no control over what we are handed - but every control over our response. Always looking for inspirational books, I enjoyed reading this story about Dr. Yonnet and how he overcame a devastating accident and persevered to finish medical school and go on to serve and inspire his patients.
